Questions

Why is my Gmail mobile signature different?

The Gmail app uses its own mobile-signature setting.

Can I add an image?

Yes. Use a small hosted image with useful alt text and test it with images blocked.

Why is there extra spacing?

Pasted formatting can add spacing. Start with simple HTML and test-send before using it.
